Network
Providers
NorthCoast Infusion Network (NCIN) is a national network of
credentialed infusion and nursing providers. Our goal is to bring
business opportunities to our network of providers by working with
drug manufacturers, payors, other healthcare related organizations,
and employer groups.
We are committed to the philosophy that our compelling point of
differentiation is strength in our numbers with the capability to
service customer needs throughout the country-- in local markets--
by local providers. Payor and employer groups tend to contract with
one or two national providers for ease and cost efficiency. We
believe our network provides a better alternative to meet their
needs in all markets while creating new business opportunities for
our pharmacy partners. The stronger our network, the more
opportunities we will have.
Membership is at NO COST to the provider. We collect dispensing data
from the provider’s pharmacy software system that is used as
leverage to work with drug manufacturers and other healthcare
organizations to move the initiatives of the network forward. The
data is HIPAA compliant, free of any PHI and easily viewed at the
pharmacy level.
Why is the data important?
The ability to provide data sets our network apart from any other.
The data is important to drug manufacturers, GPOs, payors, and other
entities to understand how the medications are actually being used.
They may get sales data, but our dispensing data goes much deeper.
The ability to see patient level demographics (i.e. age, weight,
etc.) payor, and clinical information (i.e. ICD-9 codes and much
more) collected directly from the pharmacy software is invaluable.
This data will open doors for the network. It can be used to
leverage preferred pricing or terms, access to drugs previously with
limited access, and access to other providers and opportunities.
Through our special web portals and data collection infrastructure,
we can provide timely reports indicating how a drug is actually
being used, who is prescribing the drug, market trends, and other
related dispensing information.
